Marlow Navigation Ukraine was recently awarded as “Leader of the Year” for 2017 at the National Business Rating, held August 23 in Kyiv.
Part of the International Union of National Business Ratings, this rating programme aims to identify leading enterprises across various sectors in a country’s economy who have achieved significant market success whilst also gaining the trust of partners and consumers alike. Winners are selected by an independent assessment and ranking system, and also based on data from financial reporting firms.
This year, almost 150 entrepreneurs gathered at the award ceremony in Kyiv. There to receive the award and the national certificate on behalf of Marlow Ukraine was Managing Director, Captain Boris Ezri. Also present was Deputy Director, Sergey Khlopkov who was awarded with an individual medal “The Pride of the Collective” and a personal certificate for diligent undertakings of assigned tasks, responsibility and professionalism.
“We are extremely pleased to be recognised yet again for our company’s and staff’s excellent work, accomplishments and success. This award is specifically important, as it highlights the important contribution our company, and the maritime industry at large, has on the local economy here in Ukraine,” states Captain Ezri. “Marlow Ukraine is the largest provider of deck and engine officers for the Marlow Group, while the country as a whole is a vital source for seafarers globally,” he added.
Meanwhile, certificates of “Specialist of the Year” were awarded to Deputy Director for Crewing, Igor Kolosov and Senior Crewing Operator Yana Nikolayeva as employees of the enterprise leader for significant contribution to the working process, productiveness and teamwork.
