Michal Wisniewski, Marlow Navigation Gdynia, Poland

It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to our colleague and dear friend, Managing Director of the office here in Gdynia, Michal Wisniewski. Michal passed away suddenly due to Covid-19.

Michal had been a valued and respected member of our team and will be very much missed. He joined Marlow’s managed vessel as a 2nd Mate in 1996 and in February 2000 as a crew superintendent at our head office in Cyprus. Soon after, he was entrusted to run the offices in Poland, Marlow Navigation Gdynia Ltd., where he performed with great care, enthusiasm and to full satisfaction.

On a personal level, everyone who knew Michal and worked alongside him will remember him with great kindness and affection. Michal was always a very polite, positive, loyal, outspoken and committed person. A good person and colleague that will be dearly missed.

On behalf of all of us at Marlow, our most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Michal’s family.

Farewell Michal

The Memorial Mass will be held on 29th Dec at 1200 CET at Michal's favourite church. It can be viewed online at https://www.parafiawawrzynca.pl/transmisja-live-28936
