Marlow Navigation has opened a fully controlled office in Szczecin to further support the company’s recruitment of qualified and experienced Polish marine professionals.
The office operates as a branch of the existing company present in the country and is headed by Piotr Masny, Marlow’s new Managing Director in Poland who joined in early 2021 to strengthen the existing and dedicated team.
“I am pleased to join the Marlow family, a name already well-known and highly valued as an employer of seafarers here in Poland,” he stated. “Our company’s former manager, the late Michal Wisniewski did an excellent job here and built a very strong reputation. In this regard, I take on the responsibility with great respect and humility and endeavour to always do my utmost to maintain this standing, supporting our crew here in Poland, as well as of course our Group and its clients.”
Marlow has been firmly established as a seafarer manning agency in Poland since 2002, with its office in Gdynia.
“Opening a branch office in Szczecin further demonstrates our company’s commitment here in Poland and reinforces our presence as a leading employer,” added Masny.
Szczecin is the capital and largest city of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in north western Poland. Located near the Baltic Sea and the German border, it is a major seaport and Poland’s seventh-largest city.
