The announcement was made during the Club’s first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the year, which included the election of the Board of Directors. The meeting took place towards the end of May at the Amara Hotel in Limassol.
The Cyprus Marine Club is a non-profit organisation committed to promoting Cyprus shipping on the international stage. It aims to strengthen ties among all those involved in Cypriot shipping. The Club currently boasts 155 members, comprising 96 corporate and 59 individual members.
Functioning as a key platform for networking, dialogue, and industry collaboration, the Club brings together a broad range of stakeholders including shipowners, ship managers, crew managers, service providers, agents, terminal operators, and legal and financial professionals. Their collective mission is to champion the Cyprus maritime industry and foster knowledge-sharing and cooperation.
Jan Meyering has served on the Club’s Board since 2021 and has been a steadfast advocate for Cyprus as a global maritime centre. His re-election underscores the strength of leadership at Marlow Navigation and reflects his enduring commitment to both the local and international shipping community.
