The 3-day programme covered all aspects of the MRM training course, as established by the Swedish Club Academy, which meets the requirements of 1978 STCW convention, as per 2010 Manila Amendments.
The seminar was conducted to inform Marlow seafarers about current state of the shipping industry, whilst attendees also took an active part in acquiring the principles of team building and management. Marlow Ukraine office stuff also took part in aspects of the seminar.
"It’s great to have such seminars organised here in Ukraine by our company’s shipping partners. We are sure that the knowledge that was gained from this seminar will be helpful for all the participants in their working practice," stated Managing Director, Marlow Navigation Ukraine, Captain Boris Ezri. "Our thanks to Harren & Partner for organising the seminar, and to all seafarers who participated," he added.
The event ended with an awards ceremony for 10-year long serving seafarers at Marlow, together with a dinner and social outing.
