Distant Learning for Crew Available Globally

Following the successful release of distant learning courses by our training centres in Ukraine and the Philippines, we are pleased to fully expand to other key locations around the Marlow global network.

Crew without direct physical access to training facilities are now able to undergo a significant number of courses remotely so to continue their upgrading and development. Enrolment will be arranged directly by manning agencies and in co-operation with relevant training centres; Kherson Maritime Specialized Training Centre (KMSTC) for Ukraine and across Europe, UMTC in the Philippines and Asia, and Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University (AUMSU) in Russia.

Courses typically consist of online training and webinars, together with assignments and assessments. Like all training, these courses are of utmost importance and form part of the company’s mandatory and prioritised training matrix.

You may check which courses/webinars are applicable based on your current assignment via the Documents > Company Specific Training section of the CrewCompanion App or via the Crew Portal.

Please ensure to inform your manning agency of any updated contact details (i.e., e-mail, phone numbers). Further information and instructions will be communicated directly by your manning agency/training centres in due course, however, in case of any enquiries or support, please feel free to contact your respective agency or the Marlow training department at distant-learning@marlowgroup.com

Finally, please be informed that we are planning to expand our online training activities even further, therefore all Marlow crew will soon be invited to register themselves on our innovative Learning Management System (LMS) platform, where all distant learning courses will be delivered and administered.
