Marlow Navigation’s manning agency in Novorossiysk, Sunrise Marine took part in a Career fair organised by the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University (AUMSU) in Novorossiysk, Russia on 28th February 2019.

This event is held annually by the University and acts as a meet-and-greet between cadets and their future employers from the maritime industry. This year, over 40 national and international maritime companies took part.

Marlow Navigation global activities as a crew and ship manager, its structured cadet training programme and future employment opportunities and procedures were introduced to the AUMSU cadets by the Sunrise Marine representatives who participated in the Career fair with an employer representative booth.

In 2018, Marlow signed an agreement for cooperation in the field of education and training of cadets with AUMSU and an agreement for developing of upgrading training particularly in the fields of marine electronics and automation for seafarers with the AUMSU Institute of Professional Development.

Federal State Educational Institution of higher vocational training “Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University” is the largest educational institution of water transport and the only higher educational institution in the South of Russia that produces specialists for the maritime industry including water transport, shipyards and port terminals.
