Marlow Navigation celebrated the 25th anniversary of their Dutch office on July 8, and on the same occasion, the official opening of the new premises in Rhoon.
"This was a great day, celebrating these two important milestones with all our guests; friends, clients and business associates," said Managing Director, Marlow Netherlands, Frans Roelse. "We have come a long way since first establishing our office here in the Netherlands, to today being a well-known and leading brand for crew management, offshore personnel and full ship management services. Our new office here in Rhoon will help facilitate this growth and larger team, and ultimately to better service our international client base," he added.
Marlow has been operating in Rotterdam under its former name since 1992 and was rebranded to Marlow Navigation Netherlands in 2006. Although working independently, the company has the distinct advantage of using the expertise available through management offices in Cyprus and Germany, as well as the group’s worldwide network of manning agencies in key seafarer locations, and training centres.
Over the past 25 years, the company has expanded its business not only in volume but also in the type of activities and services offered to clients. Today, Marlow Netherlands offers comprehensive third party crew and technical ship management services and is acting as a port agent representative for the Marlow Group.
"We are very proud of this occasion here in the Netherlands, an office which represents a significant part of our global business," states Chairman, Marlow Navigation, Hermann Eden. "Frans and the team have done an exceptional job over the years in this important maritime centre and we look forward to continued success."
More than 150 guests attended the event, which was also blessed with great Dutch weather, kind and warming speeches, good food, drinks and music!
