On the 27th of May, the German branch of Marlow Navigation celebrated, among other things, its 25th Anniversary in Hamburg.
"25 years is a fantastic milestone for Marlow here in Germany, and we were fortunate to celebrate the day with great company, as well as exceptional sunny weather in Hamburg," stated Managing Director, MSD and Marcrew, Michael Eden. "On behalf of the company, I would like to thank all for attending the event, and to all clients and partners for their ongoing support and friendship over the years," he added.
Marlow first established a Hamburg office in 1991, then still under the name Marserve. Over the past 25 years the office has grown significantly and with over 300 confirmed participants, the attendance was in line with the occasion.
The sometimes somewhat difficult spring weather decided to rise to the occasion and as from the start of the party it was all sunshine and very comfortable temperatures. This caused a large part of the action to shift outside where many guest remained until the sun finally set.
Next to the 25th Anniversary, the celebrations also served to introduce our business partners and friends to the new offices that Marlow Germany moved to recently. Finally, the celebrations also served as a revival of the traditional Marlow May party, which had not been held since 2008.
Without wanting to single out a certain company or gift it is worth mentioning that Marlow Germany was surprised with a bike, which means that a company bicycle is now available for colleagues in case they need to run short errands or attend meetings close by.
The afternoon had all the qualities needed for a good time; great guests, interesting talks, lovely weather and last but not least excellent food and drinks as well a great catering staff. Marlow would like to thank all who came and also who helped make it such a special day.
