Marlow Navigation Ukraine celebrates 20 years existence and long-established partnership with the Marlow Group.
"On behalf of the entire Group, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the entire team at Marlow Navigation Ukraine for providing excellent service and absolute commitment to their work over the past 20 years," states Chairman, Marlow Navigation, Hermann Eden.
The office was first established in Odessa in 1996 under its initial name Crystal Marine. The following year the company joined the Marlow Group as a manning agency, sourcing, recruiting and training Ukrainian seafarers.
Today, Marlow Navigation Ukraine has offices throughout the country, including Odessa, Kiev, Mariupol, Izmail, Nikolaev, and Kherson, and is the leading supplier of deck and engine officers for the Marlow Group. Overall, the agency represents around 30% of total seafarers under the crew-managed fleet.
This is supported by extensive in-house training and upgrading activities via the Ukrainian agency network, and maintaining a close co-operation with Kherson State Maritime Academy (KSMA) and Kherson Maritime Specialized Training Centre (KMSTC).
"This is a momentous and very proud occasion for us," comments Managing Director, Marlow Navigation Ukraine, Captain Boris Ezri. "We look forward to the future, and stand ready to face changes and challenges in the maritime industry, whilst continuing to provide our dedicated services to Ukrainian seafarers, and of course to the Marlow Group and its clients," adds Captain Ezri.
Recently, Marlow Navigation Ukraine was recognised as company of the year by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for contribution to the economy. Read more here
